Rachel describes Pilates as a foundational movement system, combining mindful conditioning with sound bio-mechanical alignment. Adding Pilates to our exercise routine—whether on the Mat, Reformer, or at the Ballet Barre—greatly enhances our other physical activities. The strengthening of core, skeletal muscles can improve posture, aid in rehabilitation of acute injury and chronic musculoskeletal issues, and help us achieve a new level of physical fitness. Rachel enjoys sharing this elegant system in public classes as well as in private and small group sessions. For more about Pilates, click HERE.
